Designed to meet the demanding requirements of particular high-performance engines, including Volvo cars and those requiring ACEA C5.
Shell Helix Ultra Professional AS-L for gasoline and diesel engines is approved against the technically challenging Volvo engine oil specification VCC RBS0-2AE, which combines the ACEA C5 specification engine tests with additional Volvo tests. This oil should only be used for the new VEA engine platform produced for 2015 onwards.
- Passes the ACEA Peugeot TU3M test (CEC-L-038-A-94) for valve train wear.
- Passes the ACEA OM646 test (CEC-L-99-08) for cam & tappet wear, cylinder wear, piston cleanliness and engine sludge.
